Application Method & Usage Portion

For a large number of potted plants, it is recommended to add 2 kg (4.4 lb) of Pleasant⁺ water retainer per m³ (1000 liters or 35.315 ft3) of soil. After planting or sowing, make sure to water thoroughly for optimal results.

For a smaller number of potted plants, the application of Pleasant⁺ water retainer can be adjusted according to table 1, taking into consideration the drought tolerance of plants and air humidity. The dosage of Pleasant Plus water retainer for tree planting varies depending on the size of the tree.

To apply Pleasant⁺ water retainer, mix the suggested amount either in dry powder form or hydrogel form with 2/3 of the soil evenly. Insert the plant's root at the bottom of the hole and fill it with the soil mixture. Cover the surface with 2 inches of unmixed soil to prevent solar degradation of the polymer, and water the plant adequately.

Method

Subsoil: Mix 100g (3.5 oz) of Pleasant⁺ water retainer with the subsoil per 1m2 (10.76 ft²) evenly using a tiller. For sandy soil, 5.25 oz of Pleasant⁺ water retainer per 10.76 ft² may be used.

Topsoil: Mix 100g (3.5 oz) of Pleasant⁺ water retainer with 1m2 (10.76 ft²) of soil, then spread to an 8-inch depth on the subsoil. Afterward, water the soil thoroughly and cover it with fine sand to reduce water evaporation.
